Boys Basketball

Shortly after the soccer season is over the end of October, the boys have the opportunity to play varsity basketball. Games are usually on Tuesdays and Fridays and last through the month of February. At the end of the season the Metro Christian Athletic Association ( MCAA ) hosts a tournament. In addition to the tournament winners, awards are given for the statistics earned during the season.

In addition to the varsity team SMCS has had a junior high boys’ basketball team to help train our young men forthe varsity team when they reach that age. Their practice and game schedule is not as full as that of the varsity team.
